Daniel Kiss and Simon Kretz present ETH Zurich's statements on possible futures for the city of Cluj, based on analysis and proposals conducted with 36 students in the Option Studio offered by the Urban Design Institute of ETH Zurich in Fall / 2009. The presentation starts at 6:00pm in Cinema Victoria, Cluj and is followed by a roundtable discussion in the nearby eventspace of plusminuscluj.
[ Studio Book on Cluj I 24 April 2010 I Zürich, Switzerland ] The Urban Design Institute at ETH Zurich publishes Patterns of Continuity Cluj-Napoca, a book disseminating the results of the studio with the same title, offered by the Chair in the fall semester 2009. Editors are Professor Kees Christiaanse, Martina Baum, Daniel Kiss and Simon Kretz.

Daniel Kiss receives a three-year research grant, awarded by the Swiss National Science Foundation, to study the post-socialist development of Budapest. The project will be conducted within the framework of the extra-medium initiative.
