extra-medium
The extra-medium project is initiated by Daniel Kiss, who is architect, urbanist and researcher born in 1978 in Hungary; educated at the Techincal University Budapest, School of Architecture and at Harvard University, Graduate School of Design with professors Rem Koolhaas, Rafael Moneo and K. Michael Hays.

He worked between 2006 and 2008 as project architect with Herzog & de Meuron in Basel, Switzerland and currently teaches urban design and conducts the extra-medium research project at the Urban Design Institute of ETH Zurich.

Daniel Kiss has taught studios, workshops and has been invited to various design reviews at schools including ETH Zurich, Harvard Graduate School of Design, University of Pennsylvania and Technical University Cluj-Napoca. He is active in Switzerland and in a handful of Eastern European countries including Romania, Hungary and Poland.
